Nairobi — The number of MPs planning to join the United Democratic Party along with William Ruto has risen to 68, according to the suspended Higher Education Minister.
Ruto yesterday hosted more than 2,000 councillors and opinion leaders to discuss the takeover of the United Democratic Movement (UDM). He told them the MPs were making final arrangements to take control of UDM.
Ruto told the grassroots leaders they should begin preparing the ground for the move to UDM to involve as many people as possible.
