Tony Blair receives Israeli prize worth $1 million


Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be one of the three laureates of the Dan David Prize for 2009, awarded annually by Tel Aviv University. The TBSF has 725 women members who have trained as sports coaches through the Foundation. Ranging from our 12 year old Tennis Young Leader to our 64 year old Leader in Running Fitness, they all give their time helping others to play sport. It's a great recruitment achievement for us but it still falls way behind the 1,873 male members that have joined us!
Young Ambassadors win class elections
Nominated by their peers and acting as the class liaison, the Foundation would like to congratulate Jonny Elsdon from Cramlington Learning Village and Ben Simms and Robert Hann from Framwellgate School Durham on being elected by their fellow students to act as TBSF Young Ambassadors.
