The Wall That Heals – “Ask a Veteran”
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please join us on Friday, November 20th at The Wall That Heals to meet and speak with local Veterans who are there to answer your questions.  Veterans will rotate out every hour on the hour between 9am and 3pm, answering questions from 9am until 4pm.  More information about this event, including Veteran’s names and bios, will be posted in the coming weeks. The Wall That Heals – Film Screening

Christmas Around the World
Christmas Around the World November 14, 2015 – January 3, 2016 Back by popular demand the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is pleased to announce that Christmas Around the World is back after a six-year hiatus.   Christmas Around the World includes 26 exquisitely decorated trees representing the 26 countries that President Reagan visited while in office, as well as a White House Tree. Decorations encompass the bright and festive colors of the Caribbean, the crystals of the Nordic countries and the traditional decorations of England and Europe.  Of particular note is the Vatican tree decorated entirely with white ornaments featuring a life-size white peacock that adorns the tree’s branches.  The featured tree is an elegant reproduction of President and Mrs. Reagan’s White House tree complete with “Reagan Red” decorations and dozens of hand-blown glass ornaments. The Wall That Heals - Hometown Heroes
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. With a special presentation from 11:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Please join us on Thursday, November 19th as we honor Ventura County’s Hometown Heroes.  The Hometown Heroes Service Learning Project aims to collect stories and photos of those veterans whose names are on The Wall and those who returned home from the Vietnam Wall. Students in our local community have learned about local veterans who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War, as well as other military conflicts in our nation’s history.  The 11th grade students of Chatsworth Charter High School have created an exhibit sharing the stories they’ve learned about our Hometown Heroes and that exhibit will be on display from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in our Presidential Learning Center Auditorium.  In addition, a handful of the students will conduct a special presentation from 11:15 a.m. – 11:45  a.m. on their Hometown Hero.  Let’s honor

The Wall That Heals November 19, 2015 – November 22, 2015 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19 through 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22 The Vietnam Veterans Memorial stands as a symbol of America's honor and recognition of the men and women who served and sacrificed their lives in the Vietnam War. Inscribed on the black granite walls are the names of more than 58,000 men and women who gave their lives or remain missing. Yet the Memorial itself is dedicated to honor the "courage, sacrifice and devotion to duty and country" of all who answered the call to serve during the longest war in U.S. history. The wall was funded and built by the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Fund, Inc, who now travels The Wall That Heals, a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. The Wall That Heals – Opening Ceremony
A public event will be held on Thursday, November 19th as the official Opening Ceremony for The Wall That Heals. The program includes live music, a Color Guard, speakers, and the reading of names of all Ventura County Residents whose name is on the Wall.
