Baseball Exhibit Lunch & Tour. Guest Speaker: American Sportscaster Ross Porter
12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is pleased to offer our Baseball Lunch and Tour in conjunction with our special exhibit, Baseball! Celebrating Our Great American Pastime. Enjoy a served meal and delectable dessert prepared by our Presidential Chef, while listening to our special guest speaker, sportscaster Ross Porter. Veterans Day Commemoration
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. PROGRAM: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. To honor the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Event on Tuesday, November 11. The day’s activities include a flyover, live musical entertainment, a civil war encampment, a military vehicle display and a program honoring all branches of our military. The program, which begins at 11:00 a.m., includes an honor guard and remarks by one of our nation’s veterans. All Veterans Day activities are free for the public to attend; regular Museum admission rates apply to visit the exhibits, including Amazing Automobiles: The Ultimate Car Exhibit. AMAZING AUTOMOBILES: THE ULTIMATE CAR EXHIBIT October 28, 2014 – May 1, 2015 Opening this Fall, over 21 spectacular cars will be displayed at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. Among many others, the Hollywood cars on display will include: The Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton in “Batman” (1989) and “Batman Returns” (1991) The 1946 custom Ford used by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in “Grease” (1978) The 1966 Ford Thunderbird driven by Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon in “Thelma and Louise” (1991) The 2001 custom Honda Roadster driven by Devon Aoki in “2 Fast, 2 Furious” (2003) The 1956 XKSS owned by Steve McQueen (one of only sixteen built) The 1971 DeTomaso Pantera owned by Elvis Presley (which still has the three bullet holes from when he shot the car) Some of the Heads of State cars on display will include: Pope John Paul II’s 1998 Cadillac Papal Parade Phaeton The 1942 Lincoln Limousine

I wouldn’t even complain if a stray ball came through the Oval Office window now and then.” - President Reagan, May 11, 1983 Just in time for the opening week of Major League Baseball, “Baseball! The Exhibition” opened on April 4, 2014 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. Running through September 4, 2014, “Baseball” is a 12,000 square foot exhibition featuring over 700 artifacts, including some of the rarest, historic and iconic baseball memorabilia from the largest known private collector in the United States. The exhibit displays extraordinary artifacts from Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, Jackie Robinson, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and scores of other historically important players and organizations. This exhibition will be fun for the entire family.
