Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada (La Habana, 21 de mayo de 1937) es Doctor en Filosofía y Letras, escritor y político cubano. Desde 1993 es el Presidente de la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular de Cuba (ANPP), que es el máximo órgano legislativo del país.
Juventud y etapa política inicial
Ingresó en la Universidad de La Habana en 1954 e integró la Candidatura de la Federación Estudiantil Universitaria (FEU), participando en la mayoría de los actos de protesta organizados por dicha Organización. Fue miembro de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Federación Estudiantil Universitaria desde 1955 hasta 1956, y colaborador del Directorio Revolucionario.
