The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) is a liberal conservative political party in Gibraltar.
The party is the third political party in Gibraltar. Despite poor election results, it has garnered growing support from the public and is seen as the 'alternative opposition'. The PDP is also the only party campaigning for "a Gibraltar freely associated to the United Kingdom" and "envisages a journey through the recognition of our right to independence". The party is also the only political party in Gibraltar that have openly committed to implementing a means testing system in government housing.
