Paul Raymond Henderson (born 15 August 1962) is a former Australian politician who was Chief Minister of the Northern Territory from 2007 to 2012.
Henderson was born in Croix-Chapeau, France, where his father was serving with the United States military. He was educated in the United Kingdom to A-Levels and studied mechanical engineering through the City and Guilds of London Institute. He worked as an apprentice marine fitter in Southampton before emigrating to Australia in 1982, where he worked as an underground fitter at the zinc mines in Rosebery, Tasmania. He moved to Darwin in the Northern Territory in 1983, working as a marine fitter. A motion to phase out live exports from Australia has been rejected at the Australian Labor Party's annual conference today.
Labor MP Melissa Park moved a motion to phase out live exports within four years and to replace the trade with chilled or frozen exports.
She also called for pre-slaughter stunning to be made mandatory in export markets until the trade is banned.
Speakers against the motion included agricutlure minister Joe Ludwig who said once in a generation changes recently introduced would assure high animal welfare standards in live export markets in future.

Chief Minister Paul Henderson says offenders involved in a riot at a football final in Alice Springs on Saturday should be banned from games for life.
Police officers and a teenage umpire were injured during the brawl.
Mr Henderson says he is appalled the brawl occurred during an under-17s match.

Chief Minister Paul Henderson has acknowledged the construction of the Inpex gas plant in Darwin could lead to a labour shortage for locals.
But he believes the problem will not be as bad as during past projects.
On talkback radio today, a caller told Mr Henderson he was worried the cost of services would go up because of a shortage of tradesmen if Inpex goes ahead.
Mr Henderson says while a labour squeeze is inevitable, Inpex's planned workers' village should increase the labour pool by attracting people from interstate.
