LAHORE: Faced with a challenge from the assertive judiciary, President Asif Ali Zardari has quit the political office of co-chairman of the Pakistan People's Party and made his son Bilawal its "patron-in-chief".

Lahore -Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has said that the Pakistan People's Party (PPP)-led coalition is drawing nearer to its end by persistently defying the Supreme Court orders.
Sharif also claimed that the coalition was pursuing policies which have multiplied the problems of the common man besides tarnishing the image of the country abroad.
