Moshe Katsav is the former president of Israel. He entered Maasiyahu Prison in the city of Ramle, south of Tel Aviv, on Dec. 7, 2011to begin a seven-year term for rape after the country’s Supreme Court rejected an appeal of his conviction and sentence.
