Mohammed bin Nawwaf (born 22 May 1953) is Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland and a member of the House of Saud.
Mohammed bin Nawwaf was born on 22 May 1953 in Riyadh. He is the oldest son of Nawwaf bin Abdul Aziz. Mohammed bin Nawwaf received primary and secondary education in Riyadh. He earned his master's degree at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in 1984. He is president of the Harvard Alumni Association of Saudi Arabia.
Mohammed bin Nawwaf worked as a researcher in International Relations at the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu for two years.Next, he joined to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in February 1984 where he first worked in the Minister’s Cabinet and then, became Inspector General at the Ministry. Later, he served as Saudi Ambassador to Italy and Malta from July 1995 to December 2004. During his tenure, in 1998, he was elected as President of the Council of Administration for the Islamic Cultural Centre of Italy. He was dean of the Arab Ambassadors’ Corps.
Prince Mohammed has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland since January 2005.He is president of the Saudi British Society in London.He was invited to and participated in The Queen's Jubilee luncheon organized at the Windsor Castle.
