القاهرة (ا ف ب) - بعد اسبوع من توليه مهام منصبه، اصدر الرئيس المصري محمد مرسي الاتي من جماعة الاخوان المسلمين قرارا مفاجئا بالغاء قرار حل مجلس الشعب الصادر عن المجلس العسكري في 15 حزيران/يونيو الماضي تنفيذا لحكم من المحكمة الدستورية العليا قضى ببطلان انتخابات مجلس الشعب.

Mohammed Morsi, the country's new head of state, declared last weekend, after he was sworn in, that "the doors would be open to all Egyptians". The people seem to have taken him at his word, queuing up to air their grievances.
The Heliopolis palace has never seen anything like it. The twitchy security men who once worked for Hosni Mubarak would not have dreamt of allowing protesters into the place to present their demands as Morsi's guards have done.

Egypt's constitutional contest between the military and the Islamic politicial leadership was pitched back into crisis after President Mohammed Morsi ordered the disbanded parliament to convene.
Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, who leads the council that had governed Egypt after Hosni Mubarak's overthrow last year, called an emergency meeting after Mr Morsi issued a direct challenge to the military by annulling a judical order to disband the Islamic-dominated parliament.
