Mussel industry gets funding boost


The P.E.I. mussel industry has received a major boost from government. Federal Fisheries Minister Keith Ashfield and Regional Minister for Prince Edward Island Gail Shea announced Wednesday that Ottawa will invest almost $970,000 to support three innovative aquaculture programs on the Island.
