Sen. Jolie Justus, a Kansas City Democrat, was chosen by her party this week to be minority floor leader of the Missouri Senate. Justus, who is halfway through her second and final term in office, will act as the legislative leader of the 10-member Democratic caucus. Republicans control 24 seats in the Senate.
