Congressman John Campbell Receives “Tax Fighter Award”
Washington, DC - The National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) has honored Congressman John Campbell with its 112th Congress “Tax Fighter Award.”
NTLC President Lewis K. Uhler recently announced the scorecard results in Washington, DC. Presenting the award to Congressman Campbell, he stated, “Congressman Campbell’s votes on tax and spending issues in the 112th Congress earned him an ‘A’ grade and the Tax Fighter Award. He has led the battle on behalf of taxpayers to repeal Obamacare, to block cap-and-trade legislation, to make the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts permanent, to eliminate the death tax, to kill the Alternative Minimum Tax, to provide incentives for private savings, investment and job creation and to control the growth of federal spending.”

Obama, Ryan in Budget Rematch - The Hill
The bell for Round Two of the fight between President Obama and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is about to ring.
Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee, was bloodied in the first round after his proposal to revamp Medicare became a campaign poster for Democrats.
Obama, who skirted major proposals to reform Medicare and Social Security in his own budget last year, invited Ryan to a speech and then ripped him from the stage, saying the proposal would “end Medicare as we know it.”
