About My Dad - Logan Campbell
October 31, 2012 "About My Dad" Growing up as John’s youngest son, I’ve had the opportunity to see him and get to know him in a whole variety of ways that most people never get to see. I definitely have all the usual fond memories a kid should have with his dad - learning to play catch, splashing in the pool, building legos - but, there is another part that I still remember vividly now as an adult. I remember what it was like when my dad was a small businessman. It’s no secret to those of you who know a lot about my dad that he was in the car business for over 25 years. I also was able to see all of the difficulties that come from lean years, bad business deals, and dishonest people. But, what stuck with me through all of this was his dedication and drive to build a better business. Now, my dad ha

About My Dad - Taylor Campbell
November 2, 2012 You may think I have a biased opinion toward my father, but I have known him for 26 years in a way that most people do not. I will never forget that night that my dad first told our family that he was thinking about running for the U.S. Congress. There were many concerns. The time, the distance, the often messy political scene. There was one thought that stood out in my mind, though: My father had the character to do what needed to be done in Washington DC. Now, that was back in 2005, but that statement is even more true today than it was 7 years ago. America is the best country in the world, but things are a lot more difficult than they were even a few years ago. There are many very difficult decisions to be made politically in the future. The question is who has the strength and intelligence to do it? I know that my dad is one of the few people in Congress willing and able to work with his colleagues to pursue positive growth in America. He is in politics because h
