سابق وزیر صحت۔ مسلم لیگ نواز کے قائم مقام صدر۔ ملتان کے ایک گاؤں مخدوم رشید میں یکم جنوری 1948ء کو پیدا ہوئے۔ پہلے ایم اے پولیٹکل سائنس کیا اور پھر فلسفے میں ایم اے کی ڈگری پنجاب یونیورسٹی سے حاصل کی۔
