ENG: John "Jack" Dalrymple (born October 16, 1948) is a North Dakota politician and businessman who is the current Governor of North Dakota, and a one-time candidate for the U.S. Senate in 1992. Dalrymple became governor after the resignation of John Hoeven, who was elected to the U.S. Senate on November 2, 2010 (in accordance with the gubernatorial succession provisions of the Constitution of North Dakota). Two days later, on November 4, 2010, Dalrymple named former United States Attorney Drew Wrigley as Lieutenant Governor-designate. Based on recently completed preliminary damage assessments, North Dakota Gov. Dalrymple, Northrop Grumman Officials Break Ground on Grand Sky Facility
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple today joined Northrop Grumman officials at the Grand Sky business and aviation park to break ground on a 36,000-square-foot facility that will support the aerospace giant’s unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations. Northrop has leased 10 acres of land at Grand Sky and will invest about $10 million in the building project which will also support UAS research and development, mission analysis as well as aircrew and maintenance training.  read more
