ENG: George Gideon Oliver Osborne (born 23 May 1971) is the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom. He is a Conservative politician and has been the Member of Parliament for Tatton since 2001. Osborne is part of the old Anglo-Irish aristocracy, known in Ireland as the Ascendancy. Today George met with the NFU and local farmers to discuss a range of local topics. Today, George visited the new University of Chester Academy Northwich- formerly Rudheath Community School- in his constituency and met the principal, Mr Matthew Wood and students, Harry Bessant and Steffi McLucas.
