Supreme Court asks for Bakoyannis immunity to be lifted
The Supreme Court has asked for Parliament to lift the parliamentary immunity of Democratic Alliance leader Dora Bakoyannis so she can be investigated in connection with the alleged non-declaration of 1 million dollars. The sum relates to money that Bakoyannis’s husband, Isidoros Kouvelos, made on the US stock market and then used to buy a ship in the UK. Dora Bakoyannis - fresh attempt to resolve name issue
Official Athens hinted at a possibility of making a fresh attempt in June for finding a mutually acceptable solution on the issue of the name of the Republic of Macedonia, Makfax news agency says.
