Daugaard makes plans to extend tourism tax


 Gov. Dennis Daugaard, who vowed in his budget address to veto any tax increases to help the state eliminate its $127 million deficit, has found one tax that he wants to make permanent. Daugaard plans to introduce a bill to extend the tourism tax that helps pay for tourism marketing and promotions.
