Tea Party Post Mortum
The rain held off long enough for the LCGOP to hold their tax day rally on Centennial Mall.  I’d hoped to get over there to listen to Governor Dave, State Senator (and candidate for State Treasurer) Tony Fulton, and others, but was too involved in preparation for the GrassrootsNE Tea Party across the street.  LCGOP [...]
Looking ahead to the 2012 Senate race
Despite the recent Rasmussen poll giving Governor Dave Heineman a clear lead over Ben Nelson in a potential 2012 Senate race, it would be difficult for me to support Governor Dave.  I’ve been pleasantly surprised at his performance as Governor, but I do not think he’d make a good Senator.  I don’t have a list [...]
Tea Time in Nebraska
The coming week will be a busy one for us crazy right-wingers and rednecks here in Lincoln.  There are three separate Tea Party type events scheduled this week, and if you’re motivated you can make it to all of them. First up, the Lincoln Tea Party group, led largely by Bob Bennie, will once again [...]

Why bother?  Why doesn’t the AFSCME simply write itself a check?  Or distribute funds the country doesn’t have to the various government [...]
