ביוגרפיה

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon addressed the Iranian people in a special broadcast on Israel Radio in Persian, saying, "We respect the Iranian people, but we do not agree with the ways of the Ayatollahs' regime, which endangers the world." According to Ayalon's office, a listener from Iran called in during the broadcast and expressed her support for Israel's position on the Palestinian issue. She told the minister, "I don't understand why you are giving up your country that you established with hard work."
