Cory Scott Gardner (born August 22, 1974) is the Republican U.S. Representative for Colorado's 4th congressional district. In 2010, he defeated incumbent Democrat Betsy Markey. He was formerly a member of the Colorado House of Representatives.
Early life, education, and early political career
Gardner graduated summa cum laude from Colorado State University with a B.A. in political science. He went to Law School at the University of Colorado to earn his Juris Doctor. Gardner served as General Counsel and Legislative Director for former U.S. Senator Wayne Allard of Colorado.

Rep. Cory Gardner (R-CO) threw his support behind a bill that would open ski areas on National Forest Service land to year-round recreation, increasing tourism and creating jobs in Colorado and much of the Rocky Mountain West.

Rep. Cory Gardner (R. Colo) says the Department of Transportation should be shut down and its functions transferred to the states. He said the Federal DOT is a “middleman” in transportation projects that is not needed and serves merely to increase their cost. He’s right.
That’s also why Obamacare is wrong and should be repealed. It inserts the Federal government as a middleman every time someone needs health care. That can’t help but increase the cost. And lower the quality of the care as well.
