CPI Greetings on Independence Day
The Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of India sends its hearty greetings to all the citizens of the country on the occasion of the Independence Day of India. We salute the memory of martyrs and heroic freedom fighters who fought against British colonialism and achieved independence of the country. We also salute the memory of the heroes of Telangana, Punnapra-Vayalar and other feudal states who laid down their lives to liberate the feudal states from the clutches of feudalism and succeeded not only in gaining their independence, but also in integrating them with India. Today people are suffering from rising prices, inflation and unemployment. Communal divide is becoming wider. Hence people should be vigilant, defend the secular, democratic and socialist values of the national movement and protect the integrity of the nation.
