ISLAMABAD - After meeting President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senior Federal Minister Pervaiz Elahi on Friday met Army chief Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.
Political circles are giving importance to this meeting and seeing it as an attempt to defuse the situation after PM’s statements on Thursday gave credence to coup rumours. Thearmy chief ‘s statement on Friday, however, dispelled all such rumours.

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Muslim League-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain brushed aside on Saturday any chance of his party’s reunification with the PML-N.
