ENG - The Association of Combatant Clerics (Persian: مجمع روحانیون مبارز; majma'-e rowhāniyūn-e mobārez), also translated as the Assembly of Combatant Clerics, is a pro-reform Iranian political party, established March 16, 1988. It is not to be confused with the Combatant Clergy Association (Persian: جامعه روحانیت مبارز) which is a conservative political party.
Tensions within Iran's Islamic Republic Party led to its dissolution in 1987. The Combatant Clerics League was part of the left-wing view favoring a focus "on exporting the revolution and calling for the state's monopoly over the economy."
