AFR: Amichand Rajbansi (14 Januarie 1942 – 29 Desember 2011) was 'n Suid-Afrikaanse politikus. Hy is die voormalige Hoofminister van die Huis van Verteenwoordigers, wat die parlementêre kamer vir die Suid-Afrikaanse Indiërbevolking was. Hy was ook die leier van die Minority Front gewees. Amichand Rajbansi, met die bynaam die Bengaalse tier, is gebore in Clairwood, Durban op 14 Januarie 1942. Hy voltooi sy skoolloopbaan aan die Clairwood Sekondêre skool en gradueer aan die destydse Indiër Universiteitkollege met geskiedenis en sielkunde as hoofvakke. The MEC for Sport and Recreation, Mr Amichand Rajbansi was a distinguished Guest of Honour at the Africa Session of the 7th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) held in Chennai, India from 7 – 9 January 2009. The Bengal Tiger went back to his roots and was the only Guest of Honour invited from Africa.
