Adolfo Rodríguez Saá (San Luis, 25 de julio de 1947) es un político argentino ex Gobernador de San Luis. Presidente de la Nación Argentina, fue proclamado por la Asamblea Legislativa el 23 de diciembre de 2001 tras liderar las encuestas presidenciales, pero ejerció este cargo durante siete días, hasta su renuncia el 30 de diciembre de 2001 por desacuerdos con Gobernadores con aspiraciones presidenciales. Fue Diputado de la Nación (2003 - 2005) y desde 2005, Senador Nacional. A fines del año 2006, el Senado de la Nación Argentina lo designó como Parlamentario del MERCOSUR, para ocupar una de las tres bancas que le corresponde a la República Argentina. Es hermano mayor de Alberto Rodríguez Saá, quien se presentó como candidato a Presidente de la Nación en octubre de 2007 y 2011.

Political career
Rodríguez Saá was elected governor of San Luis for the Justicialist Party and stayed in office during several consecutive terms, from 1983 to 2001. He improved the finances of the province and obtained several awards.
The Argentine president Fernando De la Rúa resigned after the riots of 2001. Adolfo Rodríguez Saá was elected by 169 votes against 138. After the end of Eduardo Duhalde's term, Rodríguez Saá ran for president in the April 2003 elections. Rodríguez Saá came in fourth, with 14.1% of the vote, after both of them and Ricardo López Murphy.
During the first years of Néstor Kirchner's rule, Adolfo Rodríguez Saá joined Menem and his brother Alberto (by then, the new governor of San Luis) to create an alternative political gr. up against Kirchner within the PJ.
