Hanno Pevkur (sündinud 2. aprillil 1977 Iisakus) on Eesti poliitik, 2009–2012 sotsiaalminister, 2012–2014 justiitsminister ja alates 2014. aastast sise- ja regionaalminister. Ta kuulub Eesti Reformierakonda.

 

Ta lõpetas 2002. aastal Tartu Ülikooli õigusteaduskonna bakalaureusetööga "Kohaliku omavalitsusüksuse sisemise detsentraliseerimise probleeme osavalla ja linnaosa näitel". Alates aastast 2000 töötas ta Nõmme linnaosavalitsuses õigusnõunikuna ja haldussekretärina. Aprillist 2003 kuni märtsini 2005 oli ta Nõmme linnaosa vanem, kui see koht vabanes senise linnaosavanema Urmas Paeti valimise tõttu Riigikokku.

 

Märtsis 2005 tekkis Tallinna koalitsioonis Erakond Res Publica ja Reformierakonna vahel võimutüli. Selle lahendusena otsustati muu hulgas anda Nõmme linnaosavanema koht Res Publicale. Hanno Pevkurile otsustati anda haridust ja kultuuri kureeriva abilinnapea koht. Linnavolikogu kinnitas selle määramise. Ent enne kui linnapeal õnnestus senised abilinnapead vabastada, loobus Res Publica koalitsioonist Reformierakonnaga.

 

Alates 15. aprillist 2007 oli ta Maret Maripuu asendusliikmena XI Riigikogu liige. 2009.aastal nimetas president ta sotsiaalministriks. Alates 10.detsembrist 2012 on Pevkur justiitsminister, vahetades välja ametist lahkunud Kristen Michali.

Hanno Pevkur (born 2 April 1977 in Iisaku, Estonia) is an Estonian politician, a member of the Estonian Reform Party. He graduated in 2002 with a BA degree from the law faculty of the University of Tartu. From April 2007 until February 2009 he was a member of the Estonian parliament Riigikogu. When the Estonian Minister of Social Affairs Maret Maripuu decided to step down due to a scandal caused by the Ministry's inability to ensure home delivery of pensions and timely welfare payments, he was nominated to be her successor on 18 February 2009. He was sworn in as Minister on 23 February 2009.
