عبد الفتاح سعيد حسين خليل السيسي (19 نوفمبر 1954)، هو الرئيس السادس والحالي لجمهورية مصر العربية، تم انتخابه لمدة 4 سنوات بعد نجاحه في الانتخابات الرئاسية 2014، شغل سابقاً منصب القائد العام للقوات المسلحة المصرية ووزير الدفاع الرابع والأربعين منذ 12 أغسطس 2012 حتى استقالته في 26 مارس 2014 للترشح للرئاسة. Have you voted for or against Abdel Fattah el-Sisi ? تخرج في الكلية الحربية عام 1977، وعمل في سلاح المشاة، وعين قائدًا للمنطقة الشمالية العسكرية، وتولى منصب مدير إدارة المخابرات الحربية والاستطلاع. في 3 يوليو 2013 أطاح بالرئيس السابق محمد مرسي (أول رئيس مدني منتخب بعد ثورة 25 يناير) عقب مظاهرات طالبت برحيله، وأعلن عدة إجراءات صحبت ذلك عُرِفت بخارطة الطريق أيدها المتظاهرون والمعارضون لمرسي وقتها، واعتبروا ذلك تأييداً لمطالب شعبية. بينما اتهمه جزء آخر من المُجتمع المصري والعربي والدولي بالقيام بانقلاب عسكري.

Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi (Arabic: عبد الفتاح سعيد حسين خليل السيسي‎ ‘Abd al-Fattāḥ Sa‘īd Ḥusayn Khalīl as-Sīsī, born 19 November 1954) is the sixth President of Egypt, in office since 8 June 2014. Previously he was Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as Minister of Defence, from 12 August 2012 until 26 March 2014. As head of the armed forces, he played the leading role in ousting Islamist President Mohamed Morsi following mass protests against Morsi and his government.
