The ANC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) will not intervene in the Western Cape branch yet, ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe said on Saturday. "There was no decision on Western Cape," Mantashe told reporters at a press briefing in Esselen Park in Kempton Park in Johannesburg. He said the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) was tasked with visiting three provinces, including the Eastern Cape and the North West, before the end of July. Mantashe said these three provinces were selected for review because "we have already reported to you that there were problems in these provinces."  Meanwhile, NEC member Vali Moosa has agreed to resign his position from the NEC as it conflicts with his position as Chairman of te hotel group, Sun International.
