PDP man Pozo moves to GSLP

Kayron Pozo has publically announced his departure from the Progressive Democrats Party (PDP), a departure he made in September 2012 but did so without announcement so “not to damage the party.”

 

He also announced he is “now a proud member of the Gibraltar Socialist and Labour Party family.” A decision he did not make lightly, saying he “pondered” on the decision for seven months.

 

Mr Pozo explains he left the party after taking a five-month sabbatical due to family problems and after realising if he wants “to be in a position to make my views and policies prosper, the PDP is not the party to make this happen.”

 

Having now made his departure public Mr Pozo refers to former fellow PDP member Elliott Phillips whose departure from the PDP was “recently announced with great fanfare,” by the GSD.Regarding Mr Phillips departure, he said, “as a friend I wish him all the best for the future.”
